I was so sad to hear of the passing of Ryuichi Sakamoto. Thank you for over 40 years of musical memories, they will be a source of inspiration for many years to come. Thank you for your passion for peace and for the planet. You truly lived a life to be celebrated. Rest in Peace.

David Sylvian has announced that a new cd box-set will be released by Universal/ samadhisound in 2023 – Do You Know Me Now? Details to follow, in the meantime a new video has been released for the title song, view here:

On Christmas Eve 2022, David Sylvian shared ‘I’m Too Mad to Let You Know (Sign the Papers)’ on soundcloud – a Nine Horses demo featuring David, Steve Jansen and Keith Lowe. Find it here:

NEW VOCAL TRACK ON SAKAMOTO TRIBUTE ALBUM

David Sylvian contributes to the song ‘Grains (Sweet Paulownia Wood)’ for which he sings and wrote the lyrics. The album was released to celebrate Ryuichi Sakamoto’s 70th birthday.

Bassist Keith Lowe has released a wonderful album of ambient textural music. Keith has appeared live with David Sylvian and played on the Nine Horses project. Check out his new release here (artwork by Russell Mills):

TWINKLE³ FEAT. DAVID SYLVIAN / KAZUKO HOHKI

This 2022 album – Upon This Fleeting Dream – features David Sylvian reading English translations of Japanese poetry alongside the music of Twinkle³. Kazuko Hohki reads in Japanese.

David also contributes field recordings and designed the artwork. He appears on several tracks.

‘DEADMAN’S CUT’ – AVAILABLE AGAIN
